What you should know and consider when choosing a bronze memorial:
The Process
Bronze is 88% copper, 10% tin, and 2% lead. This alloy is casted and polished after being covered with two coats of skin: first, a layer of paint, and second, a layer of polyurethane clear coat that gives the paint a gloss finish.
It's Aging
Over time, the surface color of bronze changes from golden to light brown to darker tones before acquiring a greenish cast sometimes called verdigris. This is the result of bronze being exposed to the natural elements. When it does occur, the patina itself is a natural protective covering. Although patina is a natural protective finish, your memorial can be restored to the original finish.
1. Template
Templates are available in various preset sizes and designs. Emblems are available to mix and match along with the templates to create a unique memorial.
2. Line Art
Raised and polished like the letters and numbers, line art can be sized to custom fit accordingly. Our library includes a vast variety of line art available.
3. Beveled Edge
 STANDARD: Painted the same color as the face of the memorial.
POLISHED: Polished to a high shine which adds great elegance.
DESIGNED: Custom line art design is placed on the beveled edge,
thus creating a stylized and unique edge.
4. Photo Ceramic
images high-fired into a ceramic piece with an internal steel frame. images are reproduced at high quality and are available in your choice of full color, black and white, and sepia. Photo-ceramics are much more durable than photo-engraving.
5. Bronze Emblems
Categories include religion, civil and military organizations, nature, animals and others. Emblem size is preset.
